Have you ever wondered how gravity affects you. Well its the single most important force affecting all your muscles and joints.
To counter the affects of gravity you have muscles to move you and ligaments that hold structures together from over extending themselves.
Let’s take the shoulder for example. If you lose muscle tone and muscle mass then the structures around the shoulder begin to droop and hence the tendons can get damaged irreversibly. Frozen shoulders are one consequence.
I recommend that everyone regardless of age does some resistance training of all muscle groups of the whole body. Resistance training is best done with weights and its wise to invest in a training session for a few months and then continue on your own.
Do these training sessions regardless of how good you feel, its a preventative strategy to some serious disabilities.
Good luck!
