I have found in clinical practice that if a pregnant patient is coming to the clinic prior to giving birth, the usual labour period can be 4 hours or less. This has to do with pelvis alignment and only when pelvic alignment is correct with some preventative methods advised to the patient does the baby find it easier to engage in the birth process. Obviously low back pain is also helped with the correct spinal procedures we institute at the clinic.
Its also important to examine the pelvis and low back area after the birth process to make sure these areas are functioning correctly as a lot of mother’s mention that since giving birth, they have problems with their back.
